Wow, the spinach salad I made for myself to break the fast was delicious. It was huge. Almost 5 cups of chopped raw spinach. I prefer the mature leaf to baby spinach. Then I add a tablespoon of chopped garlic and mix it up. Chop in a quarter onion, two carrots, some green beans, 4 spears of asparagus, one avocado and top with some parmesan cheese, a tablespoon of flax seeds, and some sea salt and fresh black pepper. I then take almost a tablespoon of olive oil and drizle that over the salad and then pour some balsamic vinegar over the entire thing. Mmm, I'm stuffed now and it still sounds tasty.
I then had some almonds, some trail mix, and some homemade bean/split pea soup with lots of ham in it. I took a break and hit the heavybag a little bit just playing around and tried out my new kettlebell. I was suprise that I could clean and jerk 53lbs with both arms with pretty good form. I think 10 reps each would give me a challenging workout.
After that, a protein shake. Then a break for a while. Then I finished off with a small bowl of steel cut-oats with some dried cranberries and milk and then another protein shake. That made about 2000 calories, 39% Carbs, 36% Fats, 25% Protein. I couldn't much more in this evening.
